JOB SCOPE
As one of the most exciting integrated resorts in the world Marina Bay Sands’ Brand is much bigger than its advertising. In this newly created role, we are looking to develop the clarity, impact, desire & intangible meaning that the best brands in the world imbue.
The Senior Manager, Advertising & Brand Management, will play an important role in leading projects end-to-end, implementing processes & team standards required to elevate the Marina bay Sands Brand in it’s day-to-day delivery across all facets of our integrated offering.
Responsibilities
- Be the organizational center of the account management team that focus on Brand & Marketing delivery, co-creating new processes, structures & operational requirements
- Act as lead consultants to stakeholders & business units to simplify & streamline creative requests & campaign activity
- Be the strategic gate keepers to ensure that all ideas, executions & campaigns are consistently delivering against our brand & business goals.
- Develop strong working processes & relationships based on mutual trust and expertise across our multi-faceted teams to deliver a working rhythm that facilitates both quality & efficiency.
- Train & shape our frontline team how to best safe guard & guide the creative execution of our brand identity.
- Manage the on time delivery for all creative projects across tier one, tier two & tier three campaigns
- Responsible for the maintenance & execution of all on-property brand assets
- Responsible for the management & execution of our brand & advertising budget in the procurement of specialist skills, production partners & creative agencies where appropriate
- Collaborates to shape the big picture business and marketing context and ideas, as well as delivering on tactical executions with finesse
- Advocates for the business internally, and keeps the agency team informed, focused, and enthused about the work and the business.
- Act as a unifying force across the entire organization, working closely with the marketing, comms & content teams, to translate well defined plans into effective, authentic branded communications & experiences
- Form meaningful relationships with people, being clear & approachable as this role must work with every department across the MBS ecosystem, from senior leadership to marketing, design, operations, customer service, sales, and distribution—to create a cohesive customer experience.
- Actively works to grow and develop the skills and abilities of junior staff
- Challenges direction, or the status quo, and seeks alternate perspectives and approaches in developing effective brand strategies.
- Evaluates the input and ideas of creative, media and strategic planning relative to strategy and MBS preferences.
Who we’re looking for:
Our ideal candidate would have experience within a creative agency or consultancy, handling large & complex brands. They are someone who wants to solve complex challenges and can see the big picture for what the future can and should be, while being able to act upon that vision and drive the work forward today.
The candidate should have a significant amount of experience in managing large and complex organizational structures, including proven track record in driving projects from end-to-end, delivering against budgets and workflows, and strong commercial acumen.
As a hospitality brand operating at the highest levels of luxury we are looking for candidates who are well-traveled and comfortable in other cultures.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 8-10 years’ experience with an brand organization or as a brand consultant, or related field
- You have a deep understanding of the branding process, and the strategic management of all those involved.
- You love getting to know things intimately and getting under the skin of how everything & everyone works. This means spotting connections that others don’t by looking for links between culture, futures and people
- You have an obsessive attention to detail when it comes to brand execution and understands the scale of operational delivery
- You thrive in a fast-moving environment where you can jump in, quickly figure things out, roll up your sleeves, and actively push our long-term brand vision into meaningful expressions that span the entire customer experience
- An ability to focus as well as multi-task, prone to see (and seek) solutions, not problems
- You are motivated to succeed as a team, not individual
- You are self-motivated and proactive, able to identify opportunities for improvement and take action without constant supervision.
- You are generous with your time and open with your thoughts. Above all, you derive joy in helping the many facets of a brand find their rightful place in the world
