Summary of Job Responsibilities

To plan and execute initiatives that support the growth of the Korea market to generate significant business adoption and customer participation by leveraging the full capabilities of our business partners, related content, media channels, and technology to achieve the project ROI. You will demonstrate a deep understanding of Korea market dynamics, cultural nuances and customer needs to market Marina Bay Sands to specific target Korean audiences.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Marketing & Business Partner Engagement

Work under Assistant Manager of Korea marketing to support the strategic marketing initiatives to acquire, retain, and reactivate valuable customers to track and grow our customer base, which would help to increase revenue for all business units. Marketing initiatives include but are not limited to:

    1. Actively working with OTA (online travel agency), financial service, travel & lifestyle platform, and media partners to plan and execute marketing campaigns for both branding and membership conversion purposes.
    2. Improving customer experiences through platform enhancement and business operations refinement.
    3. Coordinating with other teams and departments when necessary to ensure strategic alliance of Korea related offers and promotions to business goals, and/or integration of marketing initiatives into other business units’ plans where suitable.
    4. Supporting the business growth of the Korea markets with addition of onsite and offsite partners for the purposes of database acquisition and continuous marketing.
  • Social Media Support (i.e., KakaoTalk)
    1. Supporting contents execution/production, including events, shows, MICE, entertainment, reality shows, TV dramas, concerts, etc. to amplify the Marina Bay Sands brand awareness in Korea Market.
    2. Working with internal/external parties to create digital solutions and translations/interpretations to support customers from Korea markets.
  • VIP Customer Hosting
    1. Hosting non-gaming VIP customers from the Korea region to ensure a satisfactory stay for them at our property.
  • Other duties as directed by management

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education & Certification

  • 2-3 years of marketing experience required
  • Experience in the hospitality/ gaming/ entertainment/ media/ lifestyle/ travel industry preferred.
  • University Degree in Marketing, Business or Hospitality or related field is preferred.

Experience

  • In depth knowledge of Korea market and extended experiences living in Korea with a deep understanding the cultural and social media trend.
  • Good interpersonal and project management skills.

Competencies

  • Must be native in Korean with strong communication skills and fluent in English as the successful candidate will have to handle Korea market
  • Demonstrated sense of responsibility and accountability in tasks and projects
  • Excellent multitasking abilities and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic and dedication to producing high-quality work
  • Proactive and self-motivated with problem solving skills
  • Creative, flexible, and a can-do attitude is highly desired
  • Must be proficient in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Experience in SAS is preferred
