Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Front-of-House team to support the day-to-day operations
  • Upsell and promote chef recommendations and monthly specials to drive higher revenue for the outlet
  • Cater to patrons’ F&B needs
  • Contribute to the collective efforts to raise its Net Promoter Score for the year
  • Interact with Casino patrons with the aim of delivering outstanding customer service
  • Proactively solicit patron feedback to allow the outlet(s) to improve on its offerings and service
  • Communicate with outlet(s) back-of-house team to ensure prompt preparation/replenishment of food during service and to streamline processes from the kitchen to the floor
  • Gain greater confidence over the course of the internship in managing a small section/team during an operational shift
  • Uphold high standards of hygiene, workplace safety and overall compliance with company policies, including dutifully tracking patron alcohol consumption in line with Responsible Service of Alcohol protocols
  • Attend meetings, where needed to better understand the business relative to the roles of other internal stakeholders

Job Requirements

Education & Certification

  • Applicant must be a full-time matriculated student and with the following requirements:
    • Aged 21 years and above 
    • Not under Exclusion Order (National Council on Problem Gambling)
    • Gambling Regulatory Authority (GRA) License will be apply for selected applicants to perform authorized duties within Casino.
  • Internship should contribute to school graduation requirements

  • Possess an open mind and a deep curiosity to learn
  • Enjoys problem solving and can think out of the box in resolving problems and handling difficult situations
  • Team-oriented approach to working with others
  • Energetic and an excellent communicator
  • Have a well-groomed, professional appearance
  • Fluent in English and ideally Chinese. Knowledge of additional languages is advantageous, but not mandatory
  • Aged 21 & above, willing to work in a smoking environment with 24-hour operating hours
