Job Responsibilities

  • To research and implement possible new commercial and innovative opportunities and upgrades to enhance guest experience at the Attractions.
  • To support Manager of Business and Innovation, to identify and implement new and/or innovative commercial opportunities and avenues for revenue generation.
  • To work with the Attraction leadership team on business planning, development and implementation of new strategic initiatives and partnerships for the Attractions team.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high volume and performance-based environment while maintaining the highest level of service quality and performance capabilities.
  • Strictly adhere to all established departmental policies, procedures, and operating standards
  • To assist with Business Development team or other revenue generating initiatives if required.  
  • Administrative duties such as responding to general enquiries pertaining to new initiatives.
  • Strictly adhering to all established departmental policies, procedures, and operating standards.
  • Any other related duties as directed.

 

Job Requirements

Education & Certification

  • Diploma in Business, Tourism/Hospitality or Event Management or Project Management.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 or more years of experience in Operations, Event Management, and/or Business Development.

Other Prerequisites

  • Knowledge of the attractions industry trends and dynamics, consumer behavior, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated track record in developing new initiatives for Attractions.
  • A well-groomed and professional appearance.
  • A critical thinker with good analytical skills to be able to provide compelling business suggestions.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications to include, but not limited to, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English (essential), and at least one other spoken language/dialect (desirable)
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Able to communicate effectively to a broad range of audiences, in person or online.
  • Basic understanding of business principles such as generating or increasing revenue, and productivity measures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and/or holidays as needed.
