Complies with all regulatory reporting requirements and controls.  Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Provide training, guidance and communication as needed for all Cage personnel regarding various regulatory and internal control requirements.
  • Develop activities/curriculum to enhance Cage training program which may include but not limited to training manuals, simulations, presentations, WSQ curriculums and or the assessments.
  • Enforces guiding principles and standard operating procedures for required compliance and any other regulatory compliance related activities as assigned or deemed necessary.
  • Shall be the central focal point for the creation and maintenance of internal controls, which involves cage department policies and procedural manuals.
  • Select, schedule, and organize training and development programs for Team Members, Supervisors and Management, organize briefings as needed
  • Conduct needs analysis to determine training needs for Cage personnel.
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress and effectiveness of training and development programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop technical job skills and customer service training.
  • Ensure all training materials are accurate and well maintained and prepare for future training needs
  • Advise on design of instructional systems to facilitate department needs, organizational issues and development.
  • Establish and meet timelines, pay attention to details and follow-through.
  • Assist in interviewing and hiring of staff
  • Assist Cage Shift Managers on appraisals, performance reviews, and rewarding and disciplining/coaching team members
  • Effectively represent Marina Bay Sands to groups of Team Members, applicants, counterparts in the industry, management and outside organizations as needed.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with all departments
  • Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities to play a role in the achievement of organizational goals
  • Able to perform the duties and functions of a Cage Shift Manager as and when assigned to do so by the Director of Cage.


  • High School Diploma, College Degree, Professional Degree in related field preferred.
  • Experience in regulatory interpretation, regulatory filing and regulatory dealings are preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in large scale Casino business and experience in a manager role in a Cage operation of minimum of 3 years is preferred.
  • Good understanding of all aspects and facets of Cage operation and experience with good analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and rapport with team members from all levels.
  • Possess good organizational skills, able to multi-task, be meticulous and proactive in attitude
  • Must have good character and maintain a high level of integrity and professionalism at work.
  • Must be able to perform shift duties and work on weekends and public holidays
