At Marina Bay Sands, the role of Senior Manager, IT Compliance, is to manage the IT Compliance team and direct all its activities relating to compliance controls monitoring, audit reviews, and industry compliance certification.

He / She will be responsible for overseeing the day to day compliance activities to ensure accurate reporting to LVS management and regulators, in support of the Governance, Risk and Compliance-related programmes across Information Services.

He / She should have deep-seated governance, risk and compliance experience; possess cultural awareness and sensitivity with the ability to work with all levels of the organization; have the ability to network, communicate and advice management across cross-functional lines of pertinent matters relating to Compliance; possess the capability of learning the interdependencies between IT and business operational processes; and lastly, the ability to mentor and manage a team of Compliance team members.

 

JOB SCOPE

  • Manage all IT compliance activities across various facets of technology and business operations
  • Manage and track all IT compliance activities from inception to completion
  • Manage audit/risk findings and coordinate the remediation with all teams (IT Delivery and IT Operations)
  • Work with internal audit, control, and corporate compliance entities, as well as external auditors
  • Oversee and enhance the existing controls to ensure compliance with applicable corporate, regulatory, and legal requirements
  • Oversee and ensure the formal risk analysis and self-assessments programs for various Information Services systems and processes take place timely on a timely basis
  • Lead and undertake initiatives that improves and enhances the capabilities around compliance control and monitoring
  • Ensure Compliance-driven special projects are implemented according to approved budget and timelines.
  • Accountable to provide and approve IT controls and security requirements for technology and business partner initiatives. Ensure that systems provide adequate protections to meet areas of legal/regulatory compliance and IT security in the integrated resort/gaming industry

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • 10+ Years proven Industry experience on designing and implementing Business Process Improvement, Risk Management or Quality Assurance and/or Compliance/Audit-related function
  • ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE) desirable
  • Familiar with any of industry-defined Compliance frameworks such as COBIT, GRC or SOC.  Possessing certification or qualification in any of these frameworks is preferred.
  • Familiar with PCI DSS standards
  • Knowledge and experience of SDLC, Change Control, and SQA methodologies, techniques, and general principles
  • Knowledge of regulatory directives (e.g. Sarbanes-Oxley) as it relates to the controls required from systems and IT processes
  • High degree of integrity, constant vigilance, sound judgment and the ability to appropriately handle exposure to highly confidential and sensitive company information
  • Ability to work well with key business partners across sectors and internal IT teams in a collaborative manner
  • Knowledge of risk assessment design and delivery
  • Proven ability to manage teams
