Senior Executive, Luxury Retail Marketing

Job Responsibilities

  • Support Manager with key festive and fashion campaigns via planning and on-time and on-budget execution of marketing strategies, including key visual development, content creation, paid media, events and promotions that will give retailers the opportunity to maximise sales and exposure.
  • Lead organic content and engagement strategy for the @TheShoppesMBS Instagram account, via planning of the content calendar, daily content posting, liaison with retailers for social content, planning and executing photo and video shoots to create custom content, running giveaway contests, attending and creating content at retailer events, and other related tasks as assigned.
  • Drive paid media strategy for the @TheShoppesMBS Instagram account, including briefing, liaising with and managing appointed media agency to deliver approved social media performance targets, as well as coordinating with influencer marketing agencies, publisher partners and retailers to create and amplify custom content across multiple categories.
  • Act as the department’s liaison for social media marketing efforts relating to Chinese social media platforms including but not limited to WeChat, Weibo, Xiaohongshu, etc.
  • Support Senior Manager with local and regional media, celebrity and influencer hosting by coordinating with the Communications and Social Media teams, and retailers to curate an engaging retail experience as part of the overall on-property experience.
  • Manage and allocate advertising spaces within the Mall (e.g., digital screens) as part of ongoing retailer support for in-mall exposure.
  • Act as the daily point of contact for assigned Fashion and Beauty retailers to assist in their day-to-day marketing activities and events in the Mall.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with other departments and communicate effectively with internal / external stakeholders.
  • Assist in other ad-hoc marketing-related tasks as assigned.

 

Job Requirements

Education & Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field preferred

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of agency experience (e.g. social media agency, media agency, or events marketing agency) or marketing experience on the Brand (retailer) / Mall (landlord) side is required.
  • Prior experience with a luxury brand and / or in a large highly matrixed MNC environment or global agency is a plus.

Other Prerequisites

  • Passion for luxury marketing in the categories of fashion, watches and jewellery is a must.
  • Integrated marketing campaign (online and offline) planning and execution, as well as social media marketing (incl. influencer engagement) experience is required.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated and hardworking team, with good interpersonal skills.
  • Pay attention to details with a keen eye for accuracy, while being highly organised.
  • Demonstrate ability to think critically and logically in a dynamic retail environment.
  • Display a highly responsive, solutions-oriented attitude.
  • Demonstrate an aptitude for luxury aesthetics and flair for copywriting.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Possess knowledge of digital and social media platforms.
  • A self-starter with a strong ability to work independently and follow through with projects.
