JOB SCOPE

Summary of Job Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

• Development of policy and strategy to assess and mitigate risk associated with business interruption, disaster recovery, and threats to company assets.

• Oversee maintenance and testing of business continuity plans on a planned basis.

• Maintain professional skills by staying abreast of current developments and participating in developmental programs available within and outside the company.

• Maintain, participate and network with BCP community to ensure that MBS is in line with LVS Corp policy and industry best practices.

• Lead in the implementation of emergency preparedness through an effective training program comprising of exercises, drills and simulations, review post-exercise findings and recommend mitigation actions to arrest potential threats.

• Conduct performance appraisal reviews for Team Member(s) under his/her charge.

• Deputise for Executive Director, Security Planning and Crisis Management.

• Perform all other tasks in the Integrated Resort, including CAT A Special Employee License tasks, as directed by Head of Branch/Vice President, Security Service Department.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education & Certification

• Bachelor’s Degree Holder.

• Business Continuity Certified Professional certification preferred.

• Must possess a valid Special Employee License during his/her employment.

• Experience with the military/police service preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate within all levels of an organization, including briefing senior management as well as operation teams.

• Excellent conceptual and critical thinking skills and sound judgment, with strategic orientation and ability to perform tactically as required.

• Experience in providing technical expertise appropriate to knowledge of risk and cost-effective delivery of essential security services.

Competencies

• Strong leadership skills and an ability to work in a team environment.

• Good organizational ability.

• Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills
