JOB SCOPE

Summary of Job Responsibilities

The Learning Specialist is a member of the Talent Development and Management Team/ Human Resources Department within Marina Bay Sands.  In this role, you will use your knowledge and experience to deliver talent development and management solutions to support our goal of grooming a strong leadership team and a talented workforce.  You will be involved in:

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver development programs and activities under the organization’s Leadership Development Framework.
  • Provide training consultancy to internal clients to identify and deliver performance solutions in response to training and HR issues within the departments.
  • Engage key business leaders to understand and identify their departments’ learning needs.
  • Collaborate and liaise with key stakeholders and external training partners to deliver identified expertise and insights to the organization.
  • Evaluate training programs to ensure the curriculum and delivery methodology is effective in achieving learning objectives and transfer of skills back to the workplace.
  • Conducts content research and develops learning materials (e.g., toolkits, guides, case studies) for learning programmes.
  • Partnering with internal learning teams to drive value added programs and growth.
  • Facilitate leadership feedback programmes as such 360 degree feedback and various profiling tools.
  • Provide consultancy to mid-senior level leaders in their learning needs and development plan.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education & Certification

  • A recognized university degree/diploma in Training or HR related discipline.
  • Profiling Tools such as DiSC and Harrison Assessment will be advantageous.

Experience

  • At least 5 years of Learning and Development experience with minimum 2 years of experience in Human Resources Department.
  • Experience in conducting needs analysis, curriculum development, training delivery and evaluation techniques and/or Learning and Development consulting experience.
  • Experience in designing, developing and delivering train-the-trainers’ program.
  • Strong working knowledge of Leadership Competencies development and framework.
  • Have experience in coaching of middle to senior management level.
